Jon Kalman, N.D. Dr. Kalman is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). Prior to his medical education at SCNM, he attended the University of California Santa Cruz, where he received his B.A. in Anthropology. After graduating from SCNM, Dr. Kalman completed a post-graduate clinical internship at the Shree Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital in Mumbai, India. Dr. Kalman was in private practice for 5 years where he specialized in IV nutritional care and pain management utilizing prolotherapy. Dr. Kalman is also a California licensed EMT. He enjoys traveling and bridging naturopathic medicine with wilderness medicine. He has worked as lead medical officer for an Explorers Club cave expedition in the Grand Canyon; and as lead medical for a Baja Mexico trip. Dr. Kalman currently teaches emergency medicine courses for naturopathic physicians through the group Naturopaths International, where he is also the head of disaster relief services. He is also a co-founder and director of medical education for Potent Foods, a nutritional food bar company. When he is not working in the field, Dr. Kalman interprets digital breast thermograms for the Breast Health and Wellness Centers. |
