Endometriosis
Endometriosis is associated with abdominal cramping, extremely painful periods and a dread of menstruating.
Caused by a hormonal imbalance, endometrial tissue can escape from within the uterus and place itself along the abdominal cavity, the bowel wall, and the ovaries. When a woman cycles this tissue responds to the cycle, spasming and cramping wherever it is placed along the abdominal cavity.
Treatment for endometriosis can be challenging and it requires patience on the part of the patient to follow the naturopathic recommendations as the hormonal imbalance is restored.
In addition endometriosis is one of the main causes of infertility. Working on your hormonal imbalance today can ensure pregnancy success long term. |

Patient Testimonials
"Dear Dr. Purcell, Dr. Kupperman and Melissa,
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your guidance, expertise and patience. As you know, my husband Tom was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2010. Due to your vast knowledge of nutrition, supplementation, you were one of the first people we turned to for advice. Your support and valuable suggestions were literally life savers. All in all, it has turned out great. Tom is cancer free, his surgery was successful, his last PSA on the 3 month check up was an outstanding “0” and he will not require any radiation. We will continue to monitor him as well as stick to the supplementation and food regimen you have suggested! Thank you for your wisdom, knowledge, experience and above all friendship at such a difficult time in our lives."
