Fibromyalgia Therapy

When a woman complains of body aches, pains, fatigue, burning sensations in parts of her body, and is sensitive to touch she just might get diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is fibrosis of the muscles, or more simply a density or buildup within the muscles causing pain. Fibromyalgia is not located within the joints, it is in the muscles.

The main etiology behind fibromyalgia is that there is an inability of the cells located within the muscles to properly detoxify themselves, this leads to waste product build up within the cells and causes the pain. Additionally, with the cells literally swimming in their own waste products, they are extremely inefficient in producing energy needed to run basic body processes thereby causing fatigue.

Conventional medicine is unsuccessful in properly diagnosing or treating this condition. The role of natural medicine is to enhance the elimination of the metabolic waste within cells, provide substances that promote energy production within the cell, and relax the fibrosed muscles so that nutrients can be effectively be shuttled into and out of the cells. In many cases, intravenous infusion of nutrients is highly beneficial.
